Jenna Dewan slips into a bikini to celebrate first anniversary with Channing Tatum

There aren't many wives who'd be pleased to see their husband heading off on a business trip on their first wedding anniversary. But lucky Jenna Dewan got to accompany her actor husband Channing Tatum as he made his way to the picturesque surroundings of the Italian isle of Ischia.GI Joe star Channing, 30, was honoured as an emerging actor and presented with the Belstaff Award at the Ischia Global Film & Music Festival.

Jenna still has the dancer's body that captivated her husband

The couple met while co-starring as lovers in the hit dance movie Step Up in 2006 and married on July 11 last year. They looked as in love as ever as they sunbathed on a sandy beach yesterday.

Jenna, 28, perched on her husband's knee as they chatted with friends, including Hurt Locker star Jeremy Renner. She wore a hot pink bikini, which showed she still has the dancer's figure which captivated her husband.

The Melrose Place star sensibly covered up with a straw hat and sunglasses to avoid the UV rays. The night before the couple went dancing, with Jenna wearing a flattering violet maxi dress. The actress has no problem showing off her stunning body. She recently stripped for a new People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) campaign after watching a video on alligator cruelty.

The actress was covered in snakelike body paint for the promotion, designed to bring attention to animals killed for their skins, which are then turned into fashion accessories. And Channing has just been signed to star in Andrew Niccol's sci-fi thriller, I'm.mortal. The film portrays a society where the ageing gene stops at 25.

Those who wish to live longer can buy time but die immediately as soon as the time runs out. The rich, however, can live forever. The movie will see Channing reunite with his Dear John co-star, Amanda Seyfried.
