Home sweet home: Kim Kardashian’s Mansion $4.8million Mediterranean-style, five-bedroom mansion in Beverly Hills

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has given the Los Angeles housing market a much-needed boost after buying a $4.8million mansion.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians beauty, 29, and American football player boyfriend Reggie Bush have splashed out on a five-bedroom villa in Beverly Hills.

Kardashian, who has just launched her own perfume, is set to complete this week.

The Tuscan-style home, which is 4,000sq ft large, includes four bathrooms and a spa.

The house also boasts a swimming pool, media room and outdoor living area, complete with fireplaces for those cool winter evenings.

The garden features perfectly manicured lawns and a waterfall.

The house is surrounded by high walls and security gates so the couple will be given privacy from the paparazzi.

The estate agent describes the house as ’the perfect place to relax and entertain’.

A friend of the couple said: ’She liked that it was walled and gated. It’s just sexy. It’s a very, very sexy house.’

Kardashian started house-hunting last October after she reunited with Bush after a four-month split.

She put her West Hollywood three-bedroom condominium up for sale for just over $1million, while Bush listed his $5million Hollywood Hills home.

She said at the time: ’I love my condo, it’s beautiful. However, I feel that it’s time to move into a home. I will miss it, for sure.’

Although not well known outside the U.S., Kardashian has amassed her fortune through her various business ventures.

She co-owns the clothing boutique Dash in Calabasas, Los Angeles, with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney.

She has also starred in modelling campaigns, had several acting roles in movies and TV and released a series of fitness DVDs last year.

Once famous as a socialite friend of Paris Hilton, Kardashian became more well-known when a sex tape featuring herself and ex-boyfriend Ray J was leaked onto the internet three years ago.

Kardashian furthered her fame when she co-starred alongside her family, including mother Kris Jenner, stepfather Bruce Jenner, brother Rob Kardashian and sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner in their E! reality show.

Last month, she expanded her empire by releasing her self-titled fragrance.
