Sharon Osbourne and her daughter Aimee enjoyed a sunshine getaway in Hawaii

Unlike her limelight loving siblings, Aimee Osbourne has chosen to eschew fame by association with her famous father, Ozzy.

The 27-year-old refused to appear in the MTV reality show The Osbournes which made the rest of her family famous.

She was so adamant, in fact, that she moved out of their house and insisted the cameras stop rolling on her visits.

But it appears she still shares a close bond with her mother Sharon, 58, whom she accompanied on a Hawaiian beach at the weekend.

Her eldest child seemed to be at ease as the pair relaxed on the sand and looked comfortable, happy and in great shape.

The brunette lives in London and also works as a singer and columnist.

So she was undoubtedly enjoying the chance to spend some quality time with her busy mother in the idyllic setting.

The pair swam with dolphins during the trip, afterwards Sharon tweeted: ’Had a great weekend in Hawaii. The highlight was being with my daughter and playing with the dolphins.’

Although appearing on The Osbournes has helped her family carve careers in the media - winning Sharon a coveted place as a judge on the X Factor - Aimee does not appear to regret her decision.

She once described MTV as making a ’laughing stock’ of her father, although she has appeared in subsequent documentaries about her family, including Sharon’s interview with Piers Morgan.

Sharon said of her: ’My eldest daughter, Aimee, is very private and doesn’t want anything to do with the world of celebrity - who can blame her?

’She elected not to appear in The Osbournes and my only regret about doing the show is that it meant I spent less time with her while we were filming it.’

The show ran on MTV from 2002 to 2005 and was filmed with 24 cameras around the family’s Los Angeles home.

Ozzy wrote a song about his daughter, simply entitled Aimee.
