Brigitte Nielsen reveals all about her brief romance with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, and Sean Penn too

She’s had many famous lovers over the years.

And now Brigitte Nielsen has opened up on all the steamy details about her affair with Arnold Schwarzenegger, her marriage to Sylvester Stallone and wild night with Sean Penn and Mick Hucknall.

In her new autobiography You Only Get One Life, out May 9, the 47-year-old Dane describes meeting the former California Governor on the set of Red Sonja in 1984.

The model, actress and singer recalls an instant attraction to the former body builder when they began working together, in the book, serialised today in The Sun.

’Of course it was soon apparent that the two of us had energy between us and at length it channelled itself into an outrageous affair.

’We both knew that when the film was finished, so were we. Time was limited so we didn’t hold back - we really made the most of it,’ she says.

’The set lights would barely be off before we disappeared to do our thing. We wanted time to ourselves and we wanted to try everything. And when we were alone, that’s exactly what we did.’

Brigitte, 21, at the time and married to husband Kaspar and with a baby son Julian, says she knew her marriage was already over but her affair with Schwarzenegger meant ’there was no going back.’

The blonde beauty became a regular in the headlines in 1985 when, after Red Sonja came out, she began dating Sylvester Stallone.

The couple married married within months and appeared in two films, Rocky IV and Cobra before divorcing in 1987.

In her book, Brigitte describes her brazen approach to meeting the actor who she describes as ’the sexiest, most delicious man I’d ever seen.’

Brigitte sent the Rocky star a note with a photograph of herself to his hotel while they were both in New York.

She introduced herself, saying she was an up and coming actress, and despite admitting she sounded like ’a crazed fan,’ Stallone took the bait.

After a few dates Sylvester convinced Brigitte to stay with him at his house in Malibu: ’When I arrived we spent a relaxed evening and that night we were together for the first time,’ she reveals.

’We did it on a chair - a big, American chair. My main memory of it was that it had finally happened. We started seeing one another regularly and within just a few weeks he offered me a part in Rocky IV, then asked me to marry him.’

Brigitte, who is currently appearing in ITV show Sing If You Can, also recalls steamy liaisons with actor Sean Penn after her divorce from Sylvester and also sharing a bath with Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall.

She met Sean Penn in Cannes and the pair spent what she describes as ’an outrageous’ night together.

But don’t get the wrong impression, as she insists: ’That said, I’ve not had many one-night stands. I’m more suited to long-term relationships despite that night with Sean and the way I’m painted as wildly promiscuous.’
