Andie MacDowell's daughters, Rainey & Sarah Margaret thigh-skimming outfits in the streets of New York
Groundhog Day star Andie, 53, started off her career as a model and has thoughtfully passed on her incredible genes to her daughters Rainey, 21, and Sarah Margaret, 16, so they can follow in her well-shod footsteps.
Stunning Rainey, a budding actress as well as a singer songwriter, wasn't afraid to wear the shortest of frocks either for her day out.

She teamed the black and grey striped plunge-fronted minidress with black Seventies style peeptoe wooden platforms.
Sarah Margaret meanwhile had a boho vibe about her outfit, with a tiny patterned tiered ra-ra skirt, wide leather belt, a white lace-trimmed spaghetti-strap vest, knee leather tan leather boots and a hippy style necklace.
Four Weddings And A Funeral star Andie meanwhile looked casual but chic in a peasant-style scoop neck white top, with deep indigo blue jeans, clear glass beads and burnished gold strappy sandals.

At one point, she covered her neck from the fierce August sun in a printed scarf in hues of pink and apricot as she took a glug of her drink.
She also looked decades younger than her age with her slim figure, tumbling auburn locks and still perfect alabaster skin - and both daughters bore an uncanny resemblance to her.
Yesterday, the ladies were just going shopping round Tribeca on a day off, but at the weekend, they were taking part in a photoshoot.

It's not known who the shoot was for, but it seems like Andie's daughters took to it like ducks to water.
It's hardly surprising however, as their father was a model too.
Andie was married to former rancher Paul Qualley from 1986 to 1999 after they were both in a Gap ad.
Meanwhile, Andie is still in print and TV ads as the face and hair of L'Oréal.

She's also still in demand as an actress too and is due to start in an upcoming remake of Eighties classic movie Footloose.
Telling the same tale as the 1984 original, this time round, it stars Kenny Wormald, Julianne Hough and Dennis Quaid as well as Andie.
It's due out on 14 October.
